Tbilisi hosts 7th round of FIPA talks

Tbilisi hosted the 7th round of the negotiations towards a Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) between Georgia and Canada on Wednesday.

According to Deputy Economy Minister Genadi Arveladze, “the agreement will promote the influx of qualitative investments in Georgia.”

“Canada is Georgia’s major economic partner and investor. The agreement will promote the influx of qualitative investments in Georgia that will ensure the transfer of knowledge and technology,” Arveladze asserted.

The 8th round will be held later this year.
