The Tbilisi Development Fund has completed the second stage of the Darejani Palace rehabilitation, a cultural heritage monument in Tbilisi.
The rehabilitation project included dismantling and replacing the historic wooden balcony, repairing the large room, renewing the damaged balcony floor, and restoring the wooden columns and outdoor balcony floor.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze inspected the finished works. The rehabilitation efforts, which began in February and cost GEL 350,000, were financed by the city’s budget.
Kaladze also mentioned that similar projects will continue in the future to maintain and restore more cultural heritage monuments in Tbilisi.
