Due to abundant precipitation and heavy snowfall for the last two days, the relevant services of Tbilisi City Hall continue to work in an emergency regime.

Roads are cleared, and technical salt is applied in Tbilisi and its suburbs, both on central and secondary roads, to prevent traffic interruptions.

TbilServiceGroup Director Giorgi Papava, Deputy Tbilisi Mayor Irakli Bendeliani and regional governors regularly monitor and inspect the areas.

Weather forecasters say snow will continue until the evening of Saturday, February 28.

The Tbilisi City Hall recommends citizens to drive with the use of winter tyres.
