TAV Georgia reports on passenger traffic recovery

Passenger traffic at Tbilisi International Airport recovered by 92% compared to the pre-pandemic figure in August 2019, TAV Georgia reported on Monday.

Tbilisi International Airport had served 363,830 passengers in August this year, showing a 48 % surge versus 2021 data.

As for Batumi International Airport in western Adjara region of Georgia, the agency said, the airport had served 103,625 passengers last month, posting a two percent swell compared to 2021 and a seven percent increase compared to 2019.

TAV Georgia is an affiliated company of TAV Airports Holding. It started its operation in Georgia in 2005 and will continue its activity until the year 2027 as per the agreement in effect.
