Tamar Kaldani to head Service of State Inspector

Tamar Kaldani, Personal Data Protection Inspector will head up Service of State Inspector, Tea Tsulukiani, Justice Minister stated. Kaladni will serve on the post until expiration of her duty term. The parliament will then elect State Inspector.

Service of State Inspector will be established in Georgia. If the draft-bill is approved by the parliament, the new body will serve as an independent investigation mechanism according to Tsulukiani.

Service of State Inspector will work in three directions – inhuman treatment of citizens committed on part of law enforcers, protection of personal data and control legal principles during secret wiretapping.
