Tamar Chugoshvili, Vice-Speaker of the Parliament appeals to observers and diplomatic corps. As Chugoshvili notes their participation in these processes is of great importance.

“I would like to once again appeal to local as well as international observers and diplomatic corps. Your role and participation in this process is of great importance. In recent days, we have observed tension attempts, especially in Zugdidi election district, ” – Tamar Chugoshvili said.

As Vice-Speaker notes “Georgian Dream” constantly provided observer organizations with information.

“We constantly provided observer organizations with information and informed them about the possible provocations that could happen on Election Day. Consequently, we once again call on the observer organizations to pay special attention precisely to the Zugdidi electoral district. Their participation in these processes is of great importance.

I’m convinced that citizens will make the right choice and we all together will celebrate victory at the end of the day”, – Tamar Chugoshvili said.

Today, Extraordinary Mayoral Elections are being held in Marneuli, Zestaponi, Chiatura, Zugdidi and Khulo municipalities. In parallel Sakrebulo By-elections are being conducted at local majoritarian election districts of Sagarejo, Akhmeta, Adigeni, Zestaponi, Chiatura, Tkibuli, Tskaltubi and Ozurgeti municipalities. In addition, citizens are electing majoritarian MP at Mtatsminda constituency in Tbilisi.
