Distant education to resume in 10 cities and Adjara region

The distant education process will resume in 10 cities and the Adjara region of Georgia from January 18.

Online distance learning will recommence in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Zugdidi, Zestaphoni, Gori, Poti, Marneuli, and Gardabani. The schools in the Adjara region will also continue learning following the order of the Georgian Education Minister.

Schools, where the education process will continue in classrooms from the second semester of the academic year, are provided with non-contact thermometers, disinfection barriers, liquids, and face masks.

The Health Ministry will impose targeted restrictions in case of Covid-19 infection. The Georgian Public Broadcaster’s project Tele-School will actively engage in the study process.
