Strong Georgia–Lelo leaders lay wreath at Gori Memorial to pay tribute to fallen heroes of the 2008 war
Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of Strong Georgia–Lelo, accompanied by coalition leaders Vato Surguladze, Grigol Gegelia, and Oto Parulava, visited the Fallen Heroes Memorial in Gori to mark the 18th anniversary of the 2008 August Russo-Georgian War.
The party representatives paid tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives fighting for Georgia’s territorial integrity.
According to the party’s press service, coalition members laid flowers at the memorial. They observed a minute’s silence to honour the service personnel and civilians who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom and independence during the 2008 Russia–Georgia War.
