Strategy Aghmashenebeli's Manjgaladze: Urgent need for decision mechanism to turn unity into real power

“We urgently need a decision-making mechanism. Without it, unity will remain merely a slogan rather than a genuine force. We must prioritise working on this. Every stakeholder must be involved in the process of making collective decisions,” declared Paata Manjgaladze, a member of the Strategy Aghmashenebeli party, in a statement released by the party’s press service.

As Manjgaladze emphasised, “The latest resolution of the European Parliament has demonstrated that unity and joint efforts are irreplaceable.”

“The regime’s position would be even more precarious if we were truly united and did not spend all our energy on confrontation. Therefore, we urgently need a decision-making mechanism. Without it, unity will remain a slogan, and not a force. We must act now—everyone should be involved in the process of making common decisions, with their own role and share. This does not mean abandoning any party; on the contrary, each voice should carry significant weight and responsibility for the decisions made. This approach will subsequently reduce fragmentation and internal conflicts within the opposition,” he added.
