“We are ready to negotiate and bring the country out of a severe political deadlock,” opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli leader Giorgi Vashadze stated on Thursday.
According to him, the resource to negotiate with the Georgian Dream still exists.
“We are ready to negotiate and bring the country out of a severe political deadlock. Our main goal is people-oriented politics, to bring people’s problems back into political discourse. The main thing is to reach the agreement,” Vashadze said.
He added that the Strategy Aghmashenebeli refuses to participate in the fact-finding interim parliamentary commission over the 2020 parliamentary elections.
“The vast majority of the society knows that elections in Georgia were rigged. We will not participate in this type of work process because we boycott the illegitimate parliament,” Vashadze said.
