Strategy Aghmashenebeli: Groups with stones, sticks have nothing common with values, traditions

The government has to ensure the protection of freedom of expression. The groups, which believe that they can protect values and traditions with stones, sticks and assaults, have nothing common with Georgian values and traditions,” said Paata Manjgaladze, a member of the opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli party.

According to Manjgaladze, anti-Pride Festival demonstrators are Russian-influenced groups. “They are misled, some financed and they do not deny it to prove that they are needed in the country. In fact, there is no problem or questions in this country regarding our religious identity or protection of traditions,” he said.

Pride Festival participants left the territory of Lisi Wonderland due to security reasons. They evacuated by mini-buses saying the police failed to ensure their security.
