All sides should compromise to fit the public’s needs and opinion that reaching an agreement is a solution to the political-economic and social crisis in Georgia, said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the opposition Strategy Aghmashenebeli party.
“The IRI survey shows that people are concerned about unemployment, poverty, high prices, inflation,” Vashadze claimed.
According to the recent analysis conducted by the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Center for Insights in Survey Research, 65 per cent of survey respondents name economy and unemployment as the major problems facing the country today. Thirty-seven per cent of citizens consider the cost of living and high prices to be the biggest challenge.
