State Silk Museum renovation ongoing

The Tbilisi Development Fund has completed the renovation of the State Silk Museum’s basement as part of the New Tiflis Project.
Visiting the renovated basement, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kakha Kaladze said “State Silk Museum is a cultural heritage monument, and all efforts aim to preserve its authenticity.”
According to Tbilisi City Hall, one of the nation’s oldest museums, which protects a variety of rare collections, dates back to the 19th century and is regarded as an outstanding example of art.
The State Silk Museum’s infrastructure has been undergoing extensive renovations, the City Hall noted.
