State Security Service – Occupational forces illegally detain one person near Zardiantkari village

On November 20, representatives of the occupation regime illegally detained a Georgian citizen in the occupied territory near the village of Zardiantkari, Gori Municipality — State Security Service said.

According to the State Security Service, a hotline has been immediately activated and the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) to Georgia has been informed about the fact.

Co-chairs of Geneva international discussions and international partners are also notified about the detention of Georgian citizen.

“Facts of Illegal detentions carried out by occupational forces damages the security environment and makes everyday life of the local population more difficult,” Security Service said.
