State Security Service of Georgia states that illegal detentions carried out by the occupation forces damage security situation on the ground and extremely complicate the everyday lives of the local residents.
“On June 6 of the current year, representatives of the occupation forces illegally detained 3 persons in the vicinities of village Phakhulani of Tsalenjikha municipality.
Hot Line has been activated immediately on the fact of illegal detention and the EU Monitoring Mission has been informed. The chairpersons of the Geneva International Discussions and our international partners have been provided with the information.
Every existing leverage is activated and work alongside international partners is ongoing in order to release illegally detained persons.
