State Security Service confirms Akhmed Chatayev is among those liquidated during the special operation

Akhmed Chatayev is among those liquidated during the special operation carried out by the Counterterrorist Center of the State Security Service at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi – State Security Service reported in that regard during the briefing held today.

According to State Security Service, Akhmed Chatayev blew himself up.

“There are doubts on Akhmed Chatayev being among those killed during the special operation conducted in Tbilisi, but no precise information is available yet, we can confirm that when the examination is completed”, – Georgia’s State Security Service Head Vakhtang Gomelauri told reporters on November 26.

One person was detained and three people were liquidated during the special operation.

The special operation was conducted at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi on November 22.
