State Security Service arrests 30 over corruption in multiple cases
As a result of a large-scale anti-corruption operation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service across various regions of Georgia, 30 individuals have been arrested and are facing prosecution for corruption-related offenses uncovered in 12 separate criminal cases, the State Security Service of Georgia reported.
“The Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service will continue its efforts to detect and prevent all forms of corruption until we achieve the Georgian state’s goal of making Georgia one of the leading countries in the world with a low level of corruption,” the SSSG statement said.
