SSPC Chief hosts U.S. Ambassador
Anzor Chubinidze, the head of the Special State Protection Service (SSPC) on Thursday hosted the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Robin Dunnigan, discussing the existing relations between the Embassy and the agency, the threats and current global challenges, and likely development of events and their potential effects on Georgia.
According to the agency’s press office, Ambassador Dunnigan emphasized the professionalism of the SSPC employees and expressed her desire to deepen cooperation.
Since 1995, the SSPC has been protecting the US ambassador.
