SSG to confirm installation of warning banner near Khurvaleti

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) confirmed the installation of a warning banner by the occupational regime near Khurvaleti village, Gori Municipality.

According to the SSG, the Russian occupational forces have carried out illegal activities, among them borderization, arrangement of military infrastructure across the occupied territory, since 2008.

The Security Service reacts on the facts, activates a hotline and notifies the EUMM and Geneva International Discussions.

“Illegal activities of the occupational forces damage the security environment and complicate the daily life of the local population. The Russian Federation bears full responsibility for this,” the SSG said in a statement.
