SSG: Russian occupants unlawfully detain two Georgian citizens

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) reported that representatives of Russian occupation forces illegally detained two Georgian citizens near the occupied village of Tsnelisi.

The incident was immediately reported to the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions and international partners.

“All available mechanisms have been activated to secure the prompt release of the detained Georgian citizens. The occupying force bears responsibility for all destructive actions in the occupied territories of Georgia and along the occupation line,” the statement reads.
