SSG reports on unlawful detention of one more Georgian citizen in Otobaia
The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) reported on the unlawful detention of one more Georgian citizen in Otobaia village of the occupied Gali region.
The SSG said it triggered all the available resources to release the detainee shortly. It further noted that through the communication via a hotline of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM), it was determined that the occupying forces imposed a 2-month imprisonment on the detained Georgian citizen charged with organizing illegal migration.
The SSG stated that it notified the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) and international partners about the fact of the Georgian citizen’s unlawful detention in the occupied Gali region.
