SSG: Occupation forces unlawfully detain Georgian citizen

Russian occupying forces unlawfully detained a Georgian citizen near Adzvi village of the Gori Municipality, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) reported.

The SSG said it activated a hotline operated by the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) and will notify the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) and international partners to release the detainees shortly.

“The occupation forces bear full responsibility for the destructive actions carried out in the occupied regions of Georgia and along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL),” the SSG said.
