Grigol Liluashvili, Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG), met Viorel Moșanu, co-chair of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) and a Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus.
The sides discussed regional security issues, the current situation across Georgia’s occupied territories, and the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL), focusing on illegal borderization, unlawful detentions and killing of Georgian citizens by occupying forces.
The meeting stressed the need to effectively use and strengthen the potential of existing negotiation formats, in particular, the Geneva International Discussions and Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meetings.
