Special stamp unveiled to mark 100 anniversary of Shota Rustaveli University
At Shota Rustaveli State University of Theater and Cinema, a postage stamp commemorating the 100th anniversary of the institution was unveiled.
According to Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Guram Guramishvili, the stamp sends a clear message to the world about Georgia’s recognition of one of its oldest educational institutions, which has made significant contributions to the development of Georgian cinema and theater.
The General Director of Georgia Post, Levan Chikvaidze, presented the first copy of the postage stamp dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the university to Rector Giorgi Shalutashvili. Additionally, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Georgian Post” and Shota Rustaveli State University of Theater and Cinema to collaborate on joint projects.
