Special Investigation Service submits annual report to Parliament

The head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze, submitted the Annual Report 2023 of the Special Investigation Service to the Parliament of Georgia.

According to the agency’s press office, the report presents information about the activities implemented by the Service in 2023, as well as institutional and organizational reforms, achieved results, statistical data related to different kinds of crimes under the mandate of the Service, challenges, and plans.

The report also contains information regarding specific recommendations to law enforcement officers, considering the trends revealed in the investigation process, the implementation of which will significantly improve the Human Rights Status in the country

The report, following the requirements defined by the law, does not contain information about issues related to the investigation and/or specific circumstances of criminal cases.
