Special Investigation Service head to present 2022 report

The Head of the Special Investigation Service, Koka Katsitadze, will deliver a report on the activities carried out by the service in 2022 at the Legal Affairs Committee sitting.

The report will cover various projects and reforms implemented by the agency, contributing to its institutional and organizational development, addressing issues such as the quality of investigations, the legal status of victims, accountability to the public, transparency, and the fulfilment of recommendations and obligations outlined in the EC’s 12-point plan.

The report will include statistical information on criminal cases, focusing on general trends in law enforcement activities and recommendations for addressing identified shortcomings.
