“We are lucky to have unqualified individuals in the European Union, who are attempting to harm us, and they do it unskillfully,” said Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, responding to a question on feasible EU sanctions.

According to the Speaker, the current EU leadership lacks intelligence.

“We witness various malicious decisions taken against the Georgian people. The only fortunate thing is that we are dealing with such an unqualified leadership that they cannot harm either free speech or the Georgian people.

We see that they failed to undermine freedom of speech. Free media and Georgia continue to live; nothing has changed. They will not succeed in harming the Georgian people either. We are lucky to have unqualified individuals in the European Union, who are attempting to harm us, and they do it unskillfully,” he said.
