Speaker says relations with EU states 'paramount' as each member's vote 'decisive'
Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili says “Relations with EU member states are paramount as each member’s vote is decisive.”
The Speaker thinks “opponents should be convinced of how decisive and important Hungary’s goodwill towards Georgia is.”
“Georgia ensured Hungary’s positive attitude towards Georgia, even though Hungary has a critical approach to the expansion issue in general,” Papuashvili said.
“I am sure the European values will dictate that everyone should approach all countries individually and make decisions individually,” he added.
