Shalva Papuashvili, Georgia’s Parliament Speaker, met with Pawel Herczynski, Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, to discuss in detail the process of implementing the European Commission’s 12 recommendations.
The parties also reviewed the European Union’s views and expectations about Georgia’s progress in this field.
Shalva Papuashvili stated that the Georgian Parliament would conclude the work on the recommendations according to the pre-written plan, as the Georgian Parliament’s press service reported.
Shalva Papuashvili and Pawel Herczynski discussed other bilateral matters at the meeting, including the significance of a high-level European Commission visit to Georgia soon.
The EU ambassador stated that the EU delegation would continue to assist Georgia in carrying out the recommendations.
