Speaker Papuashvili meets Latvian Ambassador

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the new Ambassador of Latvia to Georgia, Edite Medne, and discussed the strong friendly relations between the countries.

The Speaker expressed his gratitude for the support of Latvia to the territorial integrity and the EU and NATO integration of Georgia, the Parliament’s press office has said.

Papuashvili provided details of the progress achieved by Georgia in the fulfilment of the EU recommendations.

The Ambassador reaffirmed the intact support of Latvia to the EU integration of Georgia and expressed her commitment to rendering assistance to Georgia in this process
