Speaker: Not surprising Danish Embassy has not explained so far why Saakashvili's placard was displayed at Danish gov't-funded event

“Unfortunately, it is not surprising that the Danish Embassy has not explained so far why the placard of the creator of the human torture system, [ex-president of Georgia] Mikheil Saakashvili was displayed at the Danish government-funded event,” said the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, on Monday.

“No one should be surprised that the Georgian people, now through the law, demand the transparency of the finances and interests that influence their life, ” the Speaker wrote on his Facebook account.
