Speaker meets NATO ambassadors in Brussels

Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili, met with NATO ambassadors from various member states, including the United States, France, Turkey, Great Britain, Romania, and Poland in Brussels.

Discussions included topics such as NATO-Georgia relations, the situation in Russia-occupied regions, regional cooperation, Georgia’s democratic reforms, and security challenges in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region.

During the visit, Papuashvili is also scheduled to meet with Mircea Geoană, NATO Deputy Secretary General, and participate in a NATO-Georgia Commission meeting.

The Georgian delegation includes Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikoloz Samkharadze, Defense and Security Committee Chair Irakli Beraia, and MP Ketevan Turazashvili.
