The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili held a meeting with the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission, Eoghan Murphy.
According to the Parliament’s press office, the conversation covered the pre-election environment.
“Mr. Murphy asked about the Parliamentary activity in the pre-electoral period and heard the comprehensive information provided by the Speaker.
The parties stressed the significance of establishing the electronic electoral system, which the Head of the Mission positively estimated.
Besides, E. Murphy informed the Speaker about the activity of the observation mission. The Speaker thanked Eoghan Murphy for the years-long successful activity in Georgia,” reads the statement.
