Meetings with representatives from the lower and upper houses are scheduled as part of the visit.

“One of the most essential issues will be the support of the de-occupation policy, which has already been backed by Japanese colleagues for years, although it is important to enhance efforts in this regard,” said the ruling Georgian Dream faction Chair, Mamuka Mdinaradze.

The meetings will also cover the economic relations, tourism, sports, education, as well as current geopolitical situation, MP Mdinaradze said.
