Speaker: GD to win constitutional majority if elections were held today

“All public polls show that the Georgian Dream would secure not only a solid majority but a Constitutional majority in the elections,” Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili told the GPB’s First Channel.

The Speaker remarked that the GD’s current rating makes approximately 60 per cent.

“Look at the choice that our population has, the GD, which preserved peace in the country and ensured economic growth, and the opposition, which main promise if they come to power is imposing sanctions, facing the population to the economic crisis and possibly war.

The Lelo and other parties introduce resolutions and initiatives. The main idea is that they still live in the politics that Georgia had 30 years ago.
