Spanish FM: We need to help Georgia to continue on path that most of its population wants, towards the European family

“We have to help Georgia continue on the path that most of its population wants, and that is the path towards the European family,” said José Manuel Albares Bueno, Foreign Affairs Minister of Spain, ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).

According to the Spanish FM, membership of the EU family is the choice of the majority of the Georgian population.

“We have to help Georgia continue on the path that most of its population wants, and that is the path towards the European family. And of course we will be there to help the Georgian people to continue that path — a democratic, peaceful and European way,” he said.
