South Korean parliamentary delegation visits Tserovani IDP settlement

Members of a parliamentary delegation from the Republic of Korea, who are in Georgia on an official visit, visited the Tserovani internally displaced persons (IDP) settlement.

Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Giorgi Tsagareishvili and Director of the IDP Agency Davit Kaikatsishvili briefed the delegation on the living conditions of residents, ongoing projects and state support mechanisms available to the community.

According to the ministry, the visitors also toured Tserovani Public School, where they learned about the educational environment and the conditions provided for students. They were also briefed in detail on the various services available to families and children living in the settlement.

The delegation met with an IDP family and learned about their living conditions and personal experiences.

Representatives of the local municipality also attended the meeting in Tserovani.
