Marching with the slogan “Davit Gareja is Georgia and Caucasus is Our House” with participation of church persons, believers and civil activists is being held at Davit Gareja, a rock-hewn Georgian Orthodox monastery complex located in Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia.
The Georgian and Azerbaijani border guards are jointly monitoring the situation. The path leading to Chichkhaturi tower is opened and citizens are able to reach the place without any limitation.
Earlier, the demonstrators and clergymen studied the recent situation on the non-agreed section. According to the rally organizers, the demonstration is peaceful and they just intend to tell everybody that Davit Gareja is an integral part of Georgia.
