Silk Road Forum strengthens regional cooperation, promotes trade and investment, ADB Vice President says
Asian Development Bank (ADB) Vice President, Roberta Casali, said the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum strengthens regional cooperation and improves trade and investment.
“The Asian Development Bank has been an early supporter of this forum since its beginning. As ADB Vice President, I am pleased to be here today and contributing to this discussion. This forum is incredibly important because it strengthens regional cooperation and focuses on how this wonderful country can improve together with other countries in the Caucasus and Central Asia and beyond, strengthen their cooperation and improve and promote trade and investments. The forum will be a great occasion for discussions and also an opportunity to increase contacts between participants,” the ADB Vice President said.
She underscored Georgia’s potential for economic growth, highlighting its geopolitical location.
Tbilisi hosts the Silk Road Forum for the fourth time, featuring more than 2,000 delegates and guests from 60 countries. The event includes ten thematic panel sessions and parallel discussions on crucial trade, economic, and connectivity topics.
