ADB President to partake at 57th annual meeting hosted by Georgia

The President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Masatsugu Asakawa, visited Tbilisi with his wife to participate in the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank.

Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, received the high-ranking guest. The discussion involved bilateral cooperation and the significance of hosting the Bank’s annual meeting in Georgia.

In addition to the official events scheduled for the ADB Annual Meeting, Masatsugu Asakawa will meet with Georgian officials.

Georgia will host the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank from May 2 to May 5. Approximately 70 events are planned within the meetings, allowing guests of various levels to discuss economic development trends and the role of international financial institutions in achieving economic development goals. The discussions will also address climate change and other global crisis challenges.
