Shio Mujiri - Clergymen are praying for the souls of the victims of Batumi fire

Shio Mujiri, Metropolitan of Senaki and Chkhorotsku, who was named as Patriarch’s locum tenens (Acting Patriarch), responded to Batumi tragic incident during the sermon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral today.

According to him clergymen are praying for the souls of the victims of the tragic incident.

Shio Mujiri, Metropolitan of Senaki and Chkhorotsku conducted the sermon at the Holy Trinity Cathedral for the first time.

The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II has named Shio Mujiri as his locum tenens (Acting Patriarch) on November 23.

Eleven people died as a result of the fire, which broke out on November 24 at 5-star Leogrand Hotel in Batumi.
