Shalva Papuashvili: No good fruit can grow from poisoned seed; radical opposition is rooted in anti-Georgian ideology

“The radical opposition is fundamentally built upon a flawed foundation, and that is an anti-Georgian ideology of serving the interests of foreign nations rather than those of the Georgian people,” stated the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili.

The Speaker was asked a question regarding the current state of affairs within the Opposition Alliance.

According to Papuashvili, when any political force sets down a path of betrayal, infighting and internal conflict become inevitable.

“No good fruit can grow from a poisoned seed. The radical opposition is built on a flawed foundation from the very outset, and that is an anti-Georgian ideology that serves the interests of other countries rather than the Georgian people. Consequently, the results here will always be disastrous. When a political force chooses the path of betrayal, it is only natural that internal conflicts will tear it apart,” Shalva Papuashvili stated.
