U.S. Senator Jim Risch condemns illegal elections in South Ossetia held on May 8. Senator wrote a statement on Twitter.
“Ukraine isn’t the only nation Putin has tried to dismantle and destroy. South Ossetia is one of two regions in Georgia occupied by Russia. I and the international community condemn yesterday’s illegal elections in South Ossetia and continue to support Georgia’s sovereignty”, Senator Risch tweeted.
