Sen. Risch: Russia must be held accountable for its crimes and return Georgia’s sovereign territory

U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Member, Sen. Jim Risch, on Monday, said “15 years ago, Russia illegally invaded, occupied, and committed human rights abuses in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Georgia.”

“Russia continues to spread misinformation and displace thousands of innocent Georgians. Russia must be held accountable for its crimes and return Georgia’s sovereign territory,” Jim Risch tweeted.
