Security Service releases details on IPRM meeting

The 127th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in the village of Ergneti, Gori Municipality, where recent incidents in the occupied region and along the occupation line were reviewed, the State Security Service (SSSG) reported.

According to the agency, Georgian representatives once again demanded accountability for the Russian occupation forces responsible for the killing of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi.

“The central government representatives also raised the issue of releasing all individuals held in illegal detention and strongly condemned the ongoing illegal ‘borderization’ activities near the occupation line. The meeting further addressed the humanitarian challenges faced by residents living along the occupation line, with particular emphasis on the issue of freedom of movement,” the SSSG said.

The next IPRM meeting is scheduled for November 18, 2025.
