The second round of 2018 presidential elections will be held on November 28 – Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) announced the date during the sitting.
The CEC summed up the final results of the first round of the 2018 presidential elections. Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chairwoman signed the summarizing protocol and issued an order about holding of the second round of presidential polls.
Based on the Georgian legislation, the second round of elections is appointed two weeks after the announcement of summarizing protocol of the results of the first tour that means that the second round of 2018 presidential elections will be held on November 28. November 28 is Wednesday and it will be declared as a day off.
