Seasonal flu jabs to be available in late October

Immunization against seasonal flu will begin across Georgia in the second half of October.

The Georgian Health Ministry purchased 200,000 Abbott Biologicals B.V. production 4-component vaccines, approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

High-risk patients and elderly people will receive the jabs free of charge at Immunization Centres.

The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) will publish the list of medical institutions where seasonal flu vaccines will be available.
