By decision of the Minister of Justice, Sandro Tsirekidze has been appointed Chairman of the LEPL Digital Governance Agency. Before this appointment, he was First Deputy Chairman of the agency.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Sandro Tsirekidze brings 15 years of experience in information technology.
“At various times, he has successfully led the planning and implementation of large-scale and complex technological projects, as well as the deployment of modern engineering and digital solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Administration and Management. Before entering the public sector, he held leading managerial positions in the private sphere, where he was responsible for introducing innovative technological approaches and high-efficiency solutions. In his new role, one of Sandro Tsirekidze’s main priorities will be steering the digital governance process, developing a citizen-centric, modern, and secure digital ecosystem, further transforming state services, and promoting innovation,” the Ministry of Justice statement read.
