Salome Zourabichvili: No legitimate parliament to elect President, I remain your President

“There is no legitimate parliament, which will elect a new president. Therefore, I remain your president,” said the President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili.

According to the President, she will head the ongoing political processes.

“I will be at the head of these political processes. I will continue as your president. There is no legitimate parliament. An illegitimate parliament cannot elect a new president. No inauguration will take place and my mandate continues until the legitimate parliament is elected that will legitimately elect a person who will replace me. I stand and will stand with you,” she said.
