Saba Buadze seeks allies to build new political alternative

“I remain in politics and continue to seek like-minded individuals to build an alternative that will replace the prevailing hysteria in Georgian politics with common sense,”  the former member of the Lelo party,  Saba Buadze wrote on his social media page.

He expressed gratitude to Lelo leaders Mamuka Khazaradze, Badri Japaridze, and other colleagues.

“Friends, as you know, on July 5, I decided to step down from my party positions in Lelo and remained only as an ordinary member until Mamuka and Badri were released from prison—a largely symbolic step.

Today, with Mamuka and Badri free, I want to inform you that I have fully left Lelo. I am grateful to Mamuka, Badri, and all my friends with whom we founded Lelo six years ago.

Despite differences in views, I leave behind many friends in Lelo, and our shared political struggle remains an important experience for me.
Of course, I will stay in politics and continue searching for like-minded people to build an alternative that replaces the hysteria dominating Georgian politics with common sense,” Buadze said.
